- Carlisle & Eden Green Party are one of the newer local Green Parties in the country. We were established in 2008 and for the first time, the people of Carlisle were able to vote for a Green Party parliamentary candidate - John Reardon - in the 2010 General Election.
- In the the 2010 Carlisle City Council election, the people of St Aidan's ward invested 21% of their votes in the Green Party - that's an increase of 9% from 2009.
- Members, volunteers and supporters are always welcome in our local branch. We hold monthly meetings and carry out regular campaigning - so there's always plenty of opportunities to involve yourself at all levels. Non-members are welcome at our meetings.

- Carlisle & Eden Green Party members work hard all year round - campaigning on local issues, liaising with the press, leafleting, discussing issues with local people, and canvassing for support in elections.
