ENOUGH! - Carlisle Green Manifesto 2012

We will launch our 2012 Green manifesto for Carlisle, titled ENOUGH!, at a public meeting at Greystone Community Centre, Close Street, Carlisle at 8pm on Wednesday April 18th. All are welcome to attend and media coverage has been confirmed.

ENOUGH! sets out a comprehensive vision for the city of Carlisle that aims to oppose the current climate of austerity, invest in the local economy and regenerate the city.

Carlisle & Eden Green Party meeting dates 2012

Monthly party meetings run from 7pm til 9pm and are held at Greystone Community Centre, Close Street, Carlisle, CA1 2HA.

 The business part of the meeting runs between 7pm-7:50pm and is open to members only.

November 30th has been marked the largest strike in a generation. Two million people have taken action and 1000 demonstrations have taken place across the country, and Carlisle saw its largest demonstration in years.

Carlisle Greens Defend the Right to Occupy London

Occupy LondonSince 15 October a group of protesters have been holding an occupation in the City of London. This is part of a global movement that is protesting about the way in which the financial system has been acting in the interests of the top 1% of the population.
